Eyjafjarðará

Eyjafjardará is more than 70 kilometers long, running north through the beautiful valley of Eyjafjordur. It joins the ocean close to Akureyri. The river is easily accessable by roads 821 and 829. It is renowned for it´s big Arctic Char but you can also expect to find brown trout and an occasional salmon.
